The best brunch south of Boston is the one you can actually get into

South Shore brunch has a reputation. Ninety-minute waits in Hingham, fancy menus in Quincy, $19 avocado toast in Braintree. Sunnyside Cafe is the opposite of that. We're an everyday brunch spot in Randolph — pancakes that taste like pancakes, eggs cooked the way you actually asked, coffee that gets refilled before you ask for more. Eggs Benedict, French toast, build-your-own omelettes, a steak-and-eggs skillet that's genuinely a meal-and-a-half, breakfast sandwiches, loaded home fries, and the buttermilk pancakes we're known for — chocolate chip or blueberry on weekends. A lot of South Shore spots only do brunch Saturday and Sunday. We do breakfast and brunch every single day of the week, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Tuesday morning before work? Wednesday after dropping kids at school? Sunday with the whole family? Same menu, same kitchen, same coffee. If the brunch craving hits on a weekday, you don't have to wait three days.

Brunch lines aren't our thing — but if Saturday at 10:30 sounds like a queue you'd rather skip, you can order online for pickup. Pay ahead, grab and go, eat brunch at your kitchen table in your pajamas. Online ordering runs 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Eastern, every day.

Where we sit on the South Shore

Randolph is a useful place to be if you're hunting breakfast on the South Shore: we're inside the triangle formed by Route 24, Route 28, and Route 93, which means most of the towns south of Boston are a ten- to fifteen-minute drive. Holbrook is five minutes down Union Street. Avon and Stoughton come straight up Route 28. Braintree and Canton are a straight shot east and west, and Quincy is about fifteen minutes up Route 93.
